He is also the founder of the Trading Symposium, one of the most successful trading conference organisers in the UK. Throughout his career, Nick has passed on his knowledge to clients of the largest names in the financial world including the CME Group, TradeStation, ETX Capital, PFG Best, IG Index, CMC Markets, Traders Magazine plus many others.
Trading for a living is hard enough as it is, but to have people watching over your shoulder can only add to the pressure of performing. But since August 2008 Tom Hougaard has been running a live trading room, posting all his trades, and making his track record a publicly accessible feature on his site www.whichwaytoday.com
Tom Hougaard used to be a regular feature on the financial business TV channels, where he offered his market analysis and forecasts. In January 2009 he was made redundant from his City job and immediately started WhichWayToday on a full time basis with his trading partner Dr David Paul from South Africa.
He says of the live trading room: “I ran TraderTom.com for many years offering day-to-day analysis, but I always felt that there was something missing. My readers could not see what I saw during the day. Trading requires you to be fluid. WhichWayToday addresses the balance by showing how we achieve our results, on a second-by-second basis, essentially offering people the chance to see and do exactly what we are seeing and doing”.
